Slip of the Tongue by Jessica Hawkins
5.0
I was skeptical at first but after a few chapters was hooked. I could feel Sadie questioning everything, and wandering what went wrong, going from how much she and Nathan loved each other in the beginning of their relationship to him acting like he despised her. Losing communication in their relationship made her believe he didn’t love her anymore which in turn lead her to turn to the one person showing interest. I think everything the characters went through had to happen in order to appreciate everything more. It made things clear and helped them see what they were missing. I appreciated how the ending didn’t end up how I initially thought.
