Agent Running in the Field by John le Carré

5.0

I have loved nearly all of his books. This one is fabulous. It feels like it's one of his best, but that's really hard to say. Maybe I always feel like that after finishing one. The author in his final years took to narrating his own audiobooks, and he does a superb job with this one. I will miss him terribly, but he's left a substantial set of novels for the re-reading in the future. In the case of this particular one, I started re-reading it almost immediately.
