3.75
Giving this a 3.75 stars because it's awesome what these authors did!
Thoughts on the book itself:
- It would have been really great if there were summaries before each story. You had not idea what in the world you were about to read.
- Some stories were an additions to stories that were already written and published - just a scene, a prologue, or epilogue (if there were summaries before each story this wouldn't have been so jarring).
- Some stories feel like they end abruptly or do not have a HFN or HEA (which can be a little frustrating when reading romance). Some just start and end with no mention of the story continuing anywhere else
Overall I completely read about 95% of these stories. There were a couple where I was just like "Nope" and skipped. I did find some GREAT stories in here though. A few authors I added to my TBR and a couple of books/audiobooks that I actually went ahead and purchased.
So in regards to the stories of this book I feel like it nets out to be about 3 stars. I upped it to 4 because of the authors doing this for free to help Ukraine!
