Insomnia by J.R. Johansson
4.0

I bought this book out of the summary and the cover. And even though I wasn't expecting more than a decent YA, in a long time I hadn't read so obsessively like with Insomnia.

I really liked how this unreliable narrator played in this book. I was really doubting everything that happened and felt sorry and wary for Parker because I didn't knew what to believe, which I loved. The idea was super original too and even thinking about what he went through, it made me tired.

I was so eager for the next book, but from the three, this is my favourite. The other two fell in the trap of generic YA, which was kind of a bump, but this for me is still the highlight and I hold it dear for that.
