The Iliad by Homer

3.0

Liked Iliad better than Homer's second book, but, because I studied it in school and we had to translate the ancient text, the anticipation of what is going to happen was kind of put down by the long phrases. Though I do have fond memories of this one, as it was the first ( and maybe the only) tale my dad has ever told me as a kid. Anyway, a nice war story, with the Gods involving into human destinies and the twist of events being a chain as the one thing leads to another and eventually everything falls down like dominos.
