Unstoppable: Harnessing Science to Change the World by Bill Nye

3.0

I really really wanted to like this book a lot. But I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, so I had to go with 3, though I'd do 3.5 if I could. It took till about 200 pages in for me to consistently want to read more. At the beginning of the book I felt like I was simultaneously being talked down to, and then briefly overwhelmed by a super technical paragraph. I was also disappointed that he'd scratch the surface of an idea and not go more in depth with it. I'm not sure if I got used to his writing style, or if I found the later subject matter more interesting, but the last 10 or 15 chapters I was excited to read and breezed through them.
