Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon

this review is all over the place and doesnt make sense. I know it reads like i hate this book lmao but i promise you these are all little things that im nit picking

- Rowan was an annoying MFC, there were just loads of little things annoyed me about her that i cant name. She also would go on these long out of nowhere rants about social justice and shit and im like why am i reading about this im tryna enjoy a cute little book as an escape. IDC if she thinks shes above neil because she reads books from women and poc authors and he only reads books written by old dead white men, its his choice. Shes also so hypocrytical she critsises him for liking those books and then every 10 seconds she crying about how no one supports her in liking romance.
- Omg one of the things that was so unrealistic about this book was that EVERYONE in her life up until this point hated romance books.... like im sorry but if this is not the dumbest thing ive heard today.

- Also to me she didnt seem nearly as good as Neil the MMC academically, the things she good commended for in the school speech was creating recycling bins.... Like i dont know how they were on par with each other its never really shown how Rowan is good at school or anything, she somehow just bluffed her way through school as the second best in the year? ok sure.

- Also maybe because im not as attached to high school as these characters all seem to be but i dont get why they were all so upset and nostalgic that its over. Like rowan does understand that life goes on after graduation right? onto much better things probably. She was soo annoying talking about how shes going to 'never have to wake up on monday for high school ever again' and im like yes good for you i dont get what the fuss is about

- Another thing is the game they were playing. Most of the time they were just dilly dallying around they could have easily one i dont understand why they didnt rush the clues to get the prize money. The clues seemed easy enough so thats what i would have done. Also how did they not get tired, i would have given up and gone to sleep no way im saying up for like 24 hours.

- This is definitely a self insert from the author which is alright but its noticable. In the other book by her see you yesterday the MFC was practically identical that i almost thought i was reading a sequel. The characters were both "pear shaped", had ruly black curly hair, were jewish, and lived in seattle. These are prevelant parts of the characters that they are basically interchangable. This is probably the reason for all the preaching about social issues.

- Didnt really care for neil

- The good part of this book is that i liked the pacing. I actually enjoyed the fact that it all took place in 24 hours as it made it fast pace and less boring. The only thing im doubtful of is that they loved each other at the end... like boo its been a day.
