This was the spin off series with Diesel in it from the Stephanie Plum series. it is a bit more magically based which was interesting. The idea of this story is that Diesel enlists the help of a woman named Lizzy to find some charms that lead to the stone for gluttony (one of the seven deadly sins...guessing there will be seven books in this series).His cousin Wulf is also looking for it but with evil intent. The humor in these books is okay but not nearly to the level that I was used to with the Stephanie Plum books. I think I might have enjoyed it more if I didn't go into it with such high expectations for it to be laugh out loud funny.
