Dear Mr. Brody by A.M. Johnson

5.0

I think this might be my favorite in the series. I seriously loved both Van and Parker. I also seriously loved Parkers BFF Marcos and if he doesn't get his own book I might cry. Marcos gives zero fucks and his over the top comments had me laughing out loud while reading. But back to Parker and Van. I enjoyed almost everything about this book. I'm a huge fan of the anonymous messaging trope. Is that a trope? When the two MCs meet online and have no idea they already know each other in real life. I eat that shit up. I was also on the edge of my seat waiting to see how Van, Parkers college professor, was going to react to the fact that he did some pretty vivid sexting with one of his students. *fans self*

" How easy it would be...to get lost inside the stars with you."

Though there was plenty of humor, this book was also incredibly romantic. Van was a total sweetheart with his blushes and shyness. I adored how Parker was so understanding and patient with him. The two had so much in common and both recognized the chance at something amazing between them. The steam was plentiful and reading along through all of Van's firsts with a man was scorching my kindle. It was just so passionate between them and the intimacy of it all leapt off the pages.

" It was immense and surreal, but underneath all the chaos there was a shining light. Me and him. And I was enough. I was enough."

I've really enjoyed all of the books in this series. [a:A.M. Johnson|1013748|A.M. Hopefully that includes some more of Marcos along with a certain Pride House Manager. I know I'm not the only one who saw something there.
