The Pull of the Stars by Emma Donoghue

2.0

I didn't enjoy this but also I guess I can appreciate it. I really felt like I just spent 9 hours in the maternity ward of a influenza hospital in 1918 Ireland. My biggest gripe about this book is the romance... if you can even call it that. Spoilers but I thought the dynamic between the two main characters was wayyy more mentor/mentee or like big sis lil sis than romantic. And the ending was just silly and rushed and I almost barely cared. Not my fave but glad to get this off my suggested lists.
