Really strong start, damn this series is also going to have a chokehold over me…

Mo Ran, the protagonist ever! So funny, so mentally unwell, so unhinged I love him. Chu Wanning is a slay as well, I love him :( the dynamic of these two is amazing I’m going a little insane over them already. The angst, the hiding true feeling just yum YUMMMMM 

God and I just KNOW that Shi Mei isn’t going to like Mo Ran back, I just feel it in my bones that Mo Ran will be like confessing and pouring his poor little heart out and Shi Mei will just 🤢

it’s going to make me cry.

So excited for book 2! A bit slower, but the translation made up for it, so intriguing and descriptive! Love it!
