A serial killer and FBI agent fall in love.
The series progresses as the FBI agent is working on the case, and doesn't know that it's actually his GF that's brutally murdering people.

I read all 5 books in this series, and I found the author's writing style easy to read. It wasn't annoying though repetitive at times. Nothing is hidden, there isn't much suspense, and the series is Wattpad-ish.

The good.
The humor isn't your typical copy-paste Wattpad humor. The jokes are genuinely funny at times.

The bad.
Dark (Morbid) romance is the genre.
Morally this book is just trying to justify all these murders throughout. It is pretty apparent the writer doesn't actually know much about profiling, serial killers, and psychology. The flippant nature with which sexual abuse, domestic abuse, serial murders, etc are romanticized or dealt with didn't sit right with me. I understand that this book is meant to be a romance series.

Also, there are a lot of detailed murdering sequences.
But all in all - I really liked how the writer was self-aware, basically admitting at the beginning of the series that she understands it's a fucked up series.

I detest the covers. Why such ugly book covers?
