Adam is actually so annoying. He’s always complaining about something or talking about how desperately in love with Juliette he is. I do not like Adam x Juliette, it feels like a middle school relationship at times- they’re both too emotional for each other that they can’t balance each other out.

I’m starting to understand why Aaron Warner’s so loved, he might be delusional and obsessive but at least he’s a morally grey villain hahahaha.

I’m interested to see if Juliette’s character actually develops.
I think it’s kinda annoying that it’s been 2 books and she hasn’t figured out anything about her skills yet.

I kinda think not much actually happens? Like Juliette finds out shes hurting Adam, they storm The Reestablishment & Anderson, they kidnap Warner and then go protect a group of citizens, where Juliette is kidnapped by Anderson and shot (and healed by Aaron) Like it doesn’t need to be as drawn out as it is- I guess it’s the love triangle drama that does it.

If you’re seeking out plot then don’t hope too much, the romance does take priority which is alright ig but slightly damaging to the narrative
