Zak George's Dog Training Revolution: The Complete Guide to Raising the Perfect Pet with Love by Zak George
2.0
Great for novice pet owners, if you're experienced or have more knowledge than most (eg: working dog training like for assistance dogs) don't bother. Great at the basics but doesn't really go into dog behaviour or psychology enough. I wish it talked about ethics of different types of training, why some people might choose not to neuter, etc. Littermate syndrome, effects of feeding on behavior, chemical castration before neuter, this book could've gone into so much more.
I just feel that there's plenty of books on the basics of lead training (which this didn't even really go into), socialisation, potty training, chewing. Why not do something that's not been covered as much?
