I had mixed feelings due to the MC, which was probably for a reason but I really love the idea of modernizing a fairytale and putting it in a big city like Chicago where it can really go viral.
Lauren is grieving the loss of her father, who was a detective in Chicago and left everything to her. She is also a detective working cases involving children killing other children. She is troubled and has had accidents on the force but has been also through a lot. She was found in a park with no memory, and her younger sister was found dead in a very suspicious way, her mother also ended her life.
When she starts digging into the murders more closely she notices a tag of the Pied Piper from Grimm's fairytales keeps popping up. Is this a work of a madman or is something more sinister at work?
