Abundance, The by Amit Majmudar

5.0

She's dying of cancer and the entire novel is from her point of view. Majmudar does a magnificent job of viewing her world, her children as they Americanize, her relatives in India, her brilliant physician husband who works on mathematical problems late at night. It is not a jolly tale, but it is a remarkable book. It's literary fiction at its best.
