Cute short story that gives you a 'good feel' for the overall series, in case you are on the fence about reading all 5 books.
The characters and rules of the universe are well-outlined for those new to the books overall.
Simple, straight-forward case of ghost haunting with Lockwood, George and Lucy. Not super scary, but solid.
Enjoyable, if you love the books and want just another little taste of the world to enjoy.
