I absolutely loved this book. While it is a book about vampires, lovers, and their dark secrets, it also outlines what it's like to be a woman who is seen as less than, ignored, taken for granted etc. And her rising and falling and rising and falling through the fight between right and wrong, justice and empathy, etc. I loved the way I was fully in Lenore's head, thinking every thought along side her.
