The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina HenrĂquez

4.0

The spanish slang was difficult at times, but with the context surrounding it I could figure out the meaning of most of it. I liked the differing perspectives of the characters and how they were all from different parts of spanish speaking countries. The book is a pretty real depiction for most immigrants when they arrive in the US and I was heartbroken many times by the lack of help they received.
