Fierce Fragile Hearts by Sara Barnard

So I honestly dont know how to feel. It's amazing as a standalone but I feel like it would have been better if I had have read Beautiful Broken Things first.

Caddy and Rosie make their appearance but instead of being Suze's rocks they are off doing their own thing at uni.

Matt, the kind of friend kind of more but definitely not dating, and Dilys, the elderly lady downstairs with the washing machine and tea and a dog that hates everyone, are really the support structure that the protagonist never had.

Theres five kinds of burrito, a sneaky kiss that makes everyone angry and a romance that's not a romance. My heart brought at a certain characters plight and I was left feeling just a little hollow by the end
