I think this may be my favorite book. Growing up in the digital age, technology has been everything to me. It was a game, it was education, it was friendship, it was confusion and hurt and it was also a site of love and connection that made me feel like I understood a little bit of life better. For a kid who grew up building things in the digital space, giggling and cheating and dying and living, this book almost perfectly captures what it is to be human, to me. How does living go on, when you’re not sure you have a life?
