Lasher by Anne Rice

4.0

It was a long time since I read the same book in both languages, and although it was confusing because of the author's style (much, much heavier than in the first book in the series,) it is quite entertaining and enjoyable.
The mythology that Anne Rice creates for this saga is raw, bloodthirsty, bordering on the sickly and with much originality in between. It is fairly difficult to follow the thread of everything that happens, so many events at the same time or at different moments of the narrative, hindering enjoyment; however, in the later chapters, this changes for the better.
