Here We Go Again by Alison Cochrun

this book was promised to be the second verse of ‘good luck, babe!’ by chappell roan and … i got that for all of two chapters. this is also me coming out of my swedish delulu era and completely working on improving myself so it feels quite crucial. and in fairness the book was good. the characters were engaging, the plot line, though cliche, worked well with my hormone-adelled brain. this should definitely be made into a film.

however, something about this did not click for me, and as such took me forever to finish and has firmly put me into a slump. i’m confused by my own reaction if i’m honest bc the reactions i had to this book were akin to books that i connect with and i like?? like i was crying and tearing up at many times, and found the characters mostly engaging, but i just??? didn’t care enough to finish the book or their story? which is again really strange bc i did like the central couple, but just. something wasn’t it with this book and i can’t put my finger on it.
