This series is gripping, exciting, unbelievably creative, and non-stop fun. Even when I think I know how something will end, Matt surprises me with a crazy twist I never saw coming. The creative problem solving that Donut and Carl use is the type of wisdom I wish I had. I fear I will never be them. 

This is more of the same. The entirety of floor 3. It introduces some cool new mechanics to the game while keeping it relatively simple. 

I love that the politics and background actors seem to be brewing. I am extremely curious to see what happens with them. 

I was even more happy to see Carl get some non-combat character development. There was one or two scenes of him thinking about his mom and his life on Earth before all of this. I honestly still want more but it scratched that itch. We also got a tiny bit more Donut background but I mean she’s a cat so there’s only so much to know lol. 

I am flabbergasted that I like this series so much. I thought for sure this would be cringey nonsense but it is so well written. This isn’t some high school kid novelizing a dnd campaign. This is a writer letting out his inner child and making something super fucking cool.
