In the second reading of C is for Corpse I only remembered a few of the side plots but not the main story. While Kinsey is trying to find out if her clients car wreck was really a murder attempt a skilled con artist shows up and tries to cheat her landlord Henry out of his life savings. Can Kinsey solve that and the main case?
