Wildflower by Drew Barrymore

2.0

I love Drew Barrymore and am fascinated by her life, which is why I wanted to read this book. However, though I enjoyed some of her stories, the writing was distractingly juvenile. VERY juvenile. And a lot of the chapters had no benefit to the reader. Was it super cute that she wrote chapter-long letters to her daughters? Yes, but it’s cute for them when they’re older, it doesn’t mean much of anything to me as a reader. The subject matter and writing style made this one a hard one to get through.
