The Crying Girls by Wendy Dranfield

challenging dark emotional mysterious sad tense medium-paced

3.75

The main plot of this book about missing persons was disturbing to me, and not one of my favorites of this series. However, I've been following this series from the beginning, so I'm glad I read it because there are very important developments for Madison, her son Owen, and for Nate. You don't necessarily have to read all of the prior books to enjoy this one, but reading book 7, the one right before this one, will better explain Nate's actions in this one. To know more about Madison and Nate's history, reading at least the first book would be helpful. Nate didn’t play a big role in this book and he was missed, but I loved the ending and I can’t wait for book 9!!
