The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Fiction, Literary, Classics by Nathaniel Hawthorne

3.0

This book is entirely tedious for the first third to a half. The writing is very droning and I thought three of the chapters could be consolidated into one. But once you got to a certain place, the story was moving and very symbolic. This would be a good book to abridge.
