I loved everything about this book. It was a full well written story with a good pace and characters that developed as the story went along. Wren is definitely the type to get it done and give her babygirl everything. She had to because of a no good baby daddy. Her story of when she was younger and the parents she had was heartbreaking. Wren is also the prime example of either you become a product of your environment or someone better. Truly proud of this character and the found family she has around her. Omg Jada is the sweetest little girl.
Dominique “Dom” Pickens is BDE aka new book boyfriend. Loved how as a reader we seen him come alive with that spark when he met Wren. He fell first and was all in. How he spoke life into Wren to make her see she’s important too. Even with his own things going he was showing up. Then the bond him and Jada had was the absolute cutest. To see the comparisons between his and Wren’s family was night and day. I like that the author took that route for the readers. They both got the love they deserved.
I can’t wait to read the other books in the series because these side characters had some things going on. First read by this author and I’m excited to explore more.
