It was short and sweet :) a great pick me up after my months long reading slump I really needed that. I love that we were able to see the main characters move on with their lives while we meet the new characters and their stories (and also get a check in on book 1’s characters) . I think my favorite one was the mother and son, but I think because the structure of the cafe and the stories were so familiar now it didn’t hit as hard emotionally but was more of a gentle comfort read. A good read for rainy days!
