๐ช๐๐ฎ๐๐ is the second book in the ๐๐๐ฐ๐ธ๐ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต series following Wyatt and his childhood best friend, Sally. After Sally returns home for a short time and begins not only fake dating but also learning bedroom lessons from Wyatt, nothing could go wrong.. right?!
I absolutely LOVED Wyatt and Sallyโs story! After getting a glimpse at the banter between them in the previous book, I knew their story would be full of that back & forth goodness and Jessica Peterson didnโt let me down. The Prologue allowed a brief yet meaningful look into the Riversโ family after suffering their great loss and allowed us to intimately grieve alongside them. It was really nice to get insight at the early friendship of Sally and Wyatt and how showing up for him in his time of need helped their initial bond root itself even deeper.
I adored how naturally these two gravitated back to each other after being apart while Sally was off chasing her dreams. Wyatt didnโt hold her back and that spoke to the kind of man he is. Sallyโs character growth was necessary and watching her confidence be restored with the help of Wyatt was just beautiful. She deserves to be loved and my goodness does Wyatt do it right!
This book is ๐ฃ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ง for anyone craving a heartwarming small town romance with swoon worthy friends to lovers, fake dating, mutual pining and delicious spice.
