There are a lot of secrets in this book and a lot of heavy subject matter. But, it's also quirky and has many 'light' moments to keep the bad stuff from dragging you under - it definitely had a funny vibe that was as strong as the difficult emotional one. It did get a little bit long, but not to the extreme. The writing style is different but I liked it. This was a better book than I expected it to be and I really liked the quirky side of it.
