The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
3.0
I wanted to really like it. I wanted to rate this as four stars for trying. I wanted to thank it for breaking the mold of monotonous and clichéd YA Heroines these days (which is why I've been so generally skeptical of reading YA lit recently). I really did. But the middle parts dragged too long and the romance part was distracting. I really liked the psychological-thriller aspect of it, though.
