Hold Me For Now by Lexi Davis

Another binge worthy read by Lexi Davis! I sat down to read a couple of chapters and then finished the novella within the hour.
I hadn’t realised that Hold Me For Now was a novella, though I was pleasantly surprised and definitely think that the ending opens the door for potential follow up stories in the future if Lexi decides to pursue this.
Hold Me For Now had me hooked and unable to put my kindle down.
Unfortunately, the let down for me was the repetitiveness. Although I understand that in a novella only a short time frame is shown, so in this instance the repetition makes sense for the story.
Also, spoiler warning, I felt a bit let down by the clincher being “love is what is missing” as the overarching theme and message of the story.
Regardless, I think Hold Me For Now has a unique story with characters that can be fleshed out more overtime. The overall idea was interesting and written well enough that I couldn’t stop until I was done!
