Even as someone who doesn't have sisters, the depth and complexity Mellors is able to show through the main characters feels so realistic and surreal. I also liked how addiction and grief and moving forward was centered in this book, how it takes a different shape for each of the sisters. Heart wrenching, yet so satisfying.
