I have an ache in my heart. However, I am quite satisfied with this ending even though I think the Darklings death was kind of a letdown, but I think that ending turned it around for me. There’s something about bitter sweetness... about that ache in your heart that comes with loss and the need to survive/move on. The “you will always be one of us” got me. I really can’t wait to watch the show and rereread the six of crows duology and for the first time read the kos duology. I think Leigh Bardugo is ending my years long reading slump, and giving me yet another reason to look forward to another day of another story to consume. Thank you.
