The Beggar King

Like the earlier books in this series, 'The Beggar King' was an enjoyable read. Always interesting, sometimes a bit 'out there,' and with the occasional unexpected plot twists to keep the reader hooked. Not as good as the first, this was still a good enough read that I found it hard to put down once I'd started reading. That said, when life gets in the way, I didn't find this one calling me back to it the way the first one did. And while I will likely read the next in the series, I'll move onto something else first.
