Please don’t speak to me for 5-7 business days while I process this. The ENDING?! I have a bone to pick with Rebecca Yarros as she ripped my heart out and stomped on it. I’ve never pulled for characters more than I have for these four. I loved the mix of the letters starting each chapter with the different POVs. I also loved that the letters were out of order so we could see the story from all angles. The epilogue at the end was a nice way to wrap up the story and I love when I feel closure (especially on a sad ending). There were a few annoyances about this book (like why he had to lie to her) but I am choosing to overlook them with my rating because an author hasn’t messed with my heart like this in awhile.
