High Fidelity by Nick Hornby

3.0

While it has not aged particularly well in some regards (the main character has some chauvinist tendencies), this novel makes some keen observations about the pitfalls of masculinity. Rob is a rather unlikeable character, but he knows, and that struggle to improve himself makes for an introspective and often funny read.
