Firstly, this book is definitely an adult book, and it's dark. If that's not your jam, stay away from the book. If it is your jam, read the trigger warnings.

I devoured this book; I sat down with it three times and all three times the only reason it was put down was because I needed to go to sleep. Haunting Adeline is my kind of messed up.

I felt all the emotions with Addie. When she felt terror, my heart raced. When she felt safe, I was calmly reading her story. When Zade was outraged by events in his storyline, so was I. Haunting Adeline gave me 5 star feels as I read through it, and that in itself makes this a 5 star read in my eyes.

Despite the darkness, despite knowing the answer to who killed Gigi, despite how terrifying the shadow can be, I would absolutely re-read this book. I'll be starting the second book after work.
