Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells

The complexity of plot that began in Network Effect is also featured here. Not a story I reccomend putting down to often due to the high risk of killing those fun "aha" moments as you unravel the mystery behind the events.

It's slower action wise, does not move the larger plot forward but it's definitely more Murderbot and it's definitely welcome, his character is on full display here and their introspection is as fun as it always is. The main characters in Mensa's primary crew get developed some and this tale from the past before the events of Network Effect serve the the main plot well in regards to given future events more weight.

Good stuff.
