Whisked Away By My Billionaire Fake Boyfriend by Bella Greene

5.0

In true Bella Greene fashion, she delivers another whimsy, clean romance full of swoon worthy moments and drama free romance. Caleb and Piper are characters that are well shaped and relatable. I adored Grandpa Gene and the wisdom he gives Caleb for life is genuine and full of love.

Piper is a business owner and completely happy with her life. Her family, however, thinks she needs to find the perfect man to marry and then her life will be fulfilled. She needs to get her family off her back, but how? In walks Caleb (literally)! Her family isn't sold on her new boyfriend, yet. Through conversations with him, they begin to see things through Piper's eyes and how much they take her for granted.

Caleb is all work and no play, but after agreeing to take a road trip with his grandpa, he finds himself taking a break for the busy work day and just enjoying life, thanks, in part, to Piper. He begins to realize how much he has missed out of life, time with his grandpa, and just being present and in the moment. He isn't quick to give his heart to just anyone, having lost his parents and grandma when he was young.

Together they learn there is more to life than just business and how to balance both their passion for their careers and their passion for each other. Their story is a short read, but holds deep meaning about what it is to love of a person for them, all of them, and how to make things work without someone have to give up part of who they are. It also holds words of wisdom about making sure to live life and not just go through the motions.
