Evelyn Hugo is an enigma of a woman and someone who absolutely needed a memoir to be written about her life. From beginning to end, each new husband was a twist in the storyline, sometimes propelling Evelyn forward into something bigger, sometimes following where her heart leads her. I can't say much without spoiling anything (like I said, the book is pretty much one plot twist after the other), but if you like complex characters and all the drama, read this.
