Broadway Butterfly by Sara DiVello

4.0

Broadway Butterfly is a fashionable true-crime novel, based on a real, high-profile murder mystery in the Roaring Twenties which remains unsolved. Dot King is found dead from chloroform, and this leads to an investigation into the complicated web of New York society, bootleggers, and corrupt officials, exposing sexism and racism present in the system along the way. A stark reminder that things don’t always get neatly resolved in the real world.

Thank you Sara DiVello, Thomas & Mercer, and NetGalley for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.
