This is a true gem of a book. The premise and execution are so unique and honestly genius. To start with my favorite parts of the book, Dean Harbinger Harrow and McMasters Conservatory for the Applied Arts. The Dean was my favorite character and my favorite voice in the book. He was absolutely hilarious and brilliant. I loved all of his puns and dark humor. I also loved the setting of McMasters. The thought and effort that went into creating every part of the school, from campus to curriculum, is clearly seen in the amazing result. It truly felt like I was a student there. I loved that it was incredibly civilized while also teaching murder. Of course, I liked the three main students as well. Doria was such a fun character, while Cliff was just impossible not to love, and Gemma was so sweet. As for the theses witnessed, Cliff's was my favorite but they were all clever and deserved. The only things in the book I struggled with was the pacing, which felt slow at times.
