I was afraid to read this book because of the ratings, and I had a reading slump for months, but this cured it, like really cured it beacus I read it in one afternoon.
-Even though the book was slow in 2/3 of the story, I really enjoyed it, enjoyed our two main characters development and slowly changing opinions of each other.
-Bot Laurent and Damen are well written characters who have strenghts and flaws that makes sense in their circumstances. The tension between them is good, and I feel like it will be better in the next two books.
-Pacat's writing is nothing extraordinary, but somehow descriptive and it makes me immerse in this world easily.
-You need to be in a certain headspace to read this book, and look up the content warnings, because it is not for the faint of heart.
The only reason this is only 4 stars is beacuse I know that the next 2 will be even better.

THIS IS WHAT ACTUAL ENEMIES TO LOVERS IS!!!
