i definitely loved this more than mile high
it was all the great parts about any romance novel tied up neatly in a pretty lil bow
the epilogue was one of the best I've read in any romance book which involves a child... the fact that they also adopted was such a precious ending for me because in real life it isn't always the "oh my my the fmc miraculously got pregnant despite her fertility issues of the past!! wowza it must be out male mc's magic dick that cured her!!!" which is in SO many books & is extremely annoying to me

4.75 / 5 stars
reasons why it isn't a 5/5 for me:
- the amount of tropes are extremely on the face, it felt like I was being spoonfed it all... would've definitely preferred some subtlety on that aspect
- this is on me (not the author!!!) , but Indy constantly thinking about kids was slightly giving me the ick
- 3rd act conflict was making me eyeroll because it felt forced
come on man NAVY??? SERIOUSLY ???
conclusion : Ryan Shay is The Best book boyfriend period 🧎🏻♀️
Graphic: Infertility, Sexual content, Stalking
Moderate: Mental illness, Toxic relationship, Abandonment
Minor: Cursing
