I almost stopped reading this book about as quick as I started it. The first chapter, I felt bored. But, after some friends recommended continuing on, I did, and after finishing it, it did get better, and though it was a bit formulaic in this genre, it had a twist at the end, that was sort of interesting, albeit, a bit melodramatic. I like spy/espionage novels, but I don't know if I'd recommend this one. Not the worst I've ever read, but certainly not even close to a "best."
