It took me a bit to get into @jenniferweinerwrites #bigsummer because the social media heavy stories can be hit or miss for me, but once that subsided a bit I breezed through.

This is a fun, light read if you’re looking for something for your next vacation. It sounds odd to call it light since it does have a #murdermystery in the mix, but it felt more romance and friendship focused. The murder mystery part wasn’t necessarily thrilling, though it was fun to follow Daphne as she investigated further, learning more about her ex best friend Drue than she expected in the process. I loved the intrigue of the mysterious Nick character…and that scene between him and Daphne in the hot tub. 😏🥵
