Cheaper By the Dozen by Ernestine Gilbreth Carey, Frank B. Gilbreth

funny lighthearted reflective slow-paced

5.0

An entertaining read (or listen, in my case). Their father, Frank Gilbreth, is a real character, a good-natured eccentric, while their mother, Lily, is usually the voice of reason and patience. Each story is told with understated humor, so that the rest of scene just unfolds before your eyes without more words needed, while the audiobook's narrator (Dana Ivey) is wonderful, varying pace and voice to match each character. I'm very much enjoying this!
